"Engineers are the class for you if you want to be a mechanical mastermind that can

                              act as solid artillery or a stalwart tank on the battlefield that is Nexus."

 

 

           Engineers are a potent heavy armor ranged class. They build volatility as their resource for their spender abilities. There's a sweet spot that one would strive to maintain, it's between 30 and 70 out of 100 max volatility, this is called "In The Zone" or ITZ for short. Many of the engineer amps, and abilities give bonuses while ITZ. 

 

           While in either stance, there's an ability refered to as an "innate" which helps in either extra survival for tanking, or for extra damage for situations that need bursty damage. While this innate is active, it grants 10 volatility per second for 10 seconds, and unlocks ITZ benefits towards abilities for the full duration.

 

           Engineers, like other tank classes, have stances which give them benefits for either tanking or damage dealing.  Engineers as a damage dealer have great sustained damage, mobile, and strong in both AoE and single target situations. The class may have it's Bots but they are far more prevalent when DPSing as compared to tanking.

7 Power: 0.60% Multi-Hit Sev


8 Power: Activating Eradiction ExoSuit grants 2 Interrupt Armor for 5s and grants a Swiftness for 10s

Swiftness: Increase Movement Speed by 20%

Technician                    [PVE]

8 Power: Taking damage that would kill you prevents death for 3s. Can only occur every 5 minutes

4 Power: Whenever your Absorb breaks, gain a Defense and an Empower for 8s.

Defense: Increase your Armor by 8%
Empower: Increases your Support Power by 8%

6 Power: 0.33% Glance Chance
7 Power: 0.60% Glance Mitigation


8 Power: Activating Provocation ExoSuit restores 1 charge of Personal Defense Unit, and grants an X Absorb for 5s

Lockdown                    [PVP]

4 Power: Feedback, Unsteady Miasma, and Thresher apply an Expose

Expose: Reduces PvP Defense by 10% and CC Resilience by 10% for 3s


5 Power: 0.50% Armor
6 Power: 0.33% Glance Chance
7 Power: 0.60% Glance Mitigation


8 Power: Zap, Obstruct Vision, and Strobe will also grant an Empower

Empower: Increases your Support Power by 10% for 3s

Tank  - Critical Mitigation (Elder Game) > Armor \ Health > Glance Chance > Glance Mitigation
